I finally finished my apple and am done with this class.

Today I started to blend the whole apple. I definately need to work more on cleaning it up. I think it is coming along nicely.

Today we started the apple project. I started to choose my primary and secondary colors and started the paint the correct regions. This is going to be a good project and fun time.

Today we blended colors. The teacher said it would be difficult, however I thought it was typically easy. I also finished the sphere today.

On this sphere project, I am really enjoying working on painting in the sphere. The shadowing is really nice and I'm going to work on the bigger shadows next class.

Today, we started a new project. It is a project that is going to get us to start painting a 3D sphere. It is very difficult to get the shadows right, however, I think I am going to enjoy working on this project.

I am coming to a stopping point in my Haunted House Project. I increased the brightness on the lightening so it looks more real.

Today i decided to add some eery mountains into the backround to make it more interesting. I also changed the painting on the roofs of the palace. This project is coming along nicely.

Today I started to work more on my coloring. Since I have a blue sky, I changed the house's tint to blue so that it blended together more. Next class I will be putting in a new roof.

Today I started working on the details on the walls. i started putting graffiti on walls, and making holes in the walls to make it more haunted.

Today i started to work on the paint. I think it looks really good with the broken windows. I am thinking about maybe putting a ghost-like shadow on the wall of the haunted house.

Today, we continued to work on the Haunted House Project. I was going to start peeling the paint, but realized I need to ask a question. However, I did start breaking and boarding up the windows. I think it is coming along nicely.

Today we started the haunted house project. We learned how to make the backround and pretty much were able to make it unique depending on what we've learned all year.

FREE DAY2

Today we had a substitute teacher so we got a day to finish all of our projects. I worked on my spider doo and then made more of the photos on photoshop like we were doing in the tutorials.

Today we worked more on the Fruit face project. So I tried to make an animal face on a pear. It worked nicely i think.

Today I finished the Fruit Face project. I now understand how to do this project with no struggle.

Today I still struggled with the color of the face to fit onto the fruit, but will ask for personal help next class.

Today we started a new project on putting a face onto a fruit. As easy as it sounds, I am having trouble making the face fit perfectly onto the fruit. Also, finding the right color of the face in hue/saturation is also very difficult. However, I am determined to accomplish this coloring issue.

Abstract

For the past 3 days, we have been working on abstract photos on photoshop. I have realized the different tools i can use to do interesting things.

Today I still worked on the webbing on the face. i need to figure out how to make the webbing look like it is not just placed on the face, but a PART of the face.

today i started pasting on the mask of spider man onto scooby. it was very difficult, but i found it easier if i copied squares, not just lines so it looks cleaner.

2nd Day of the Spider Doo project

Today we started cutting out the spider man mask and putting it on scooby doo. It has been an interesting process but im excited to keep going on it.

Today we started on the spider doo project. It was slightly difficult making the head match spider man's. Next class we will start the webbing on the face.

Zino project Finale

Today, I finished the Zino project by moving the eye down, and fixing the horns to match the color of the zebra.

Today we started a project in which we inserted to pictures, and merged them into one. I found that matching the hooves and the head from the zebra onto the rino were the hardest particles. However, I've now realized the easier ways to use liquifier in this project.

Statue of Liberty

Today, we worked on a Statue of Liberty project in which we removed the blue back round from the statue, and made the edges clean, as if the sky was never there.

Finishing the Car project and Dog

Today, I started, and finished, the dog project. I feel confident that i was successful with my dog project. I  was very precise and very organized. I felt I knew how to do everything I could with this tool.

Day 5

Today we still worked on the dissapearing project. I had alot of trouble on the street and sidewalk because of the car. However, I discovered a tool that helps me even out the color, and design so it is even. So at the end of the class, I finished.

The Start of Something new. Day 4

Today we started a project in making things in pictures dissapear. I then realized now how photagrapher's can determine how to distort pictures, and make the picture more appealing.

Finale of Photoshop Project 1

Today we finished the Liquifying project, and I personally thought it would've worked out better than it did. However, I was able to accomplish the point in the prompt to make the photoshopped picture different from the original. We will be starting a new project next class.

First Photoshop Experience

Today, the class went through the process in creating a virtual picture. We began to liquify a man's picture, and distorting it to make the man look real, but unlike the original photo. As my first experience with photoshop, i find myself enjoying myself experimenting with the different options and tools i could use later on in my school life.

First Thoughts...

In this being my first blog, I feel it is necessary to share my thoughts of how this class will play out. To begin with, I enjoy the amount of creativity that is offered to the students. With the programs this class will be using, I'm excited to jump into the amusing projects. Such as photo shop, and other networks that we haven't yet discussed in class. I also considered perhaps making a digital portrait on how I view myself for my MYP personal project for my sophomore year. To wrap things up, I'm excited to begin my digital adventure.
